BIOGRAPHY

From a young age in Southern Illinois, Andrew demonstrated an undeniable passion and precocity for broadcasting, beginning his illustrious journey at the age of 13 as a producer, writer, and later a host on several local radio stations around his hometown of Benton, IL.  A pianist from age 3, Andrew was awarded a full-ride piano scholarship to Rend Lake College, but soon dropped out after 2 years as his radio career gained momentum. After high school, he moved to St. Louis, MO and became the youngest on-air personality at 18 years old on Z107-7 (KSLZ); Andrew’s show in St. Louis was also syndicated by Z-100 (KKRZ) in Portland, OR.  This early start paved the way for a career that would not only span the airwaves but eventually the broader spectrum of experiential marketing and events.

Andrew’s trajectory continued upward when 103.5 KISS-FM (WKSC) in Chicago welcomed him at the age of 19, extending his influence through syndications back to St. Louis and Portland, as well as 97.9 KISS-FM (WNNW) in Jacksonville, FL, and Nationally at KISS-XM 11 on Sirius/XM Satellite Radio. His voice then became a familiar presence in the evenings at 101.9 The Mix (WTMX), where he maintained a #1 Nielsen-rating, a testament to his resonant connection with listeners.

In 2015, Andrew's career took a pivotal turn; Audacy in San Francisco offered him the lead position as the Morning Show host on 96.5 KOIT-FM, marking the zenith of his broadcasting career at the age of just 26. This role not only cemented his status in the industry but also led to his show's syndication to Atlanta, GA, and Sacramento, CA. His impact was so profound that by the age of 27, he was celebrated by the Bay Area’s San Francisco Magazine, ranking him #1 on their "40 Under 40" list.

Reaching a milestone by hosting a major market morning show before turning 30 (in company with Ryan Seacrest), Andrew's aspirations evolved towards creating deeper, more tangible connections among people. This led him to retire from the radio business after 15 years and dive directly into the Experiential Marketing + Event industry, where he was the Director of Business Development at Number Project in Chicago.

After several years at Number Project, positioned to dive back into his roots in the music industry, Andrew was tapped to join Breakaway Music Festival (BMF) in April 2024 as the Vice President of Brand Partnerships. Breakaway stands as the nation's premier touring music festival series, specializing in EDM and Pop genres. With a footprint in 10 major cities and counting, BMF attracts over 200,000 young professionals and mobilizes an impressive army of 2,000+ college ambassadors. Together, BMF brings to life an unparalleled live music experience featuring the biggest artists in the EDM and Pop scene.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Andrew's commitment to culture and community shines through his involvement as a board member at the Ravinia Festival on Chicago’s North Shore, and his personal passions for sailing, playing the piano, cooking, traveling, and seeing live music, encapsulates a life dedicated not just to achievement, but to the enrichment of the human experience through shared moments and memories.
